Why Is Engagement Important?

This one is pretty simple really, yet is often overlooked – especially when using scheduling tools or external services for your content. If you want people to engage with your posts – likes, comments, shares, saves… Then you’ve got to be giving all of these things out!

Unless you’re very famous, you can’t expect to gain 1000s of followers if you never follow anyone, and the same goes for making sure you’re engaging with our accounts to expect the same in return. Put a small amount of time aside each day to scroll through your feed and engage with accounts you follow, then find some new accounts using relevant hashtags or those who like similar pages to yours and spend time engaging with them – or even give them a follow if their content interests you!

You’ll notice your account grow and unsurprisingly too, as this is really the basis Social Media was built on – being SOCIAL!
