One of the first things we do with our clients who come to us for Social Media Management is create them a content plan. We do these as weekly plan, then add in notes of anything they should do on a monthly basis. Having a content plan ensures that you keep updating and posting on social media regularly, whether that be daily or 4 x a week. It makes it much easier when scheduling your posts in advance too to know what is going out on each day, so you can tick each off and keep on top of things.
Another important thing that content plans are great for is making sure that your content remains varied, so you’re not posting the same thing each day! Think about different topics or photos that are relevant to post (take a look at our 6 post ideas for some help) and use your plan to alternate different topics so you don’t post the same content in a row. For example, you can have ‘blog post Mondays’, ‘testimonial Tuesdays’ etc.
